Bratislava Young, Dynamic, Prosperous

Described by many as one of the most beautiful towns on the River Danube, the capital of the Slovak republic is a fascinating mix of three nations – Slovak, Austrian and Hungarian – where languages and cultures have intermingled for centuries to produce the vibrant and captivating historical centre it is today.

Situated on the crossroads of important ancient trade routes Bratislava has always been closely connected with European art and culture. The famous Bernstein Road to the North Sea, used by merchants for transportation of their precious goods, crossed the Danube road which connected Western Europe with the Orient.
